Yesterday, the Georgia Department of Education awarded Literacy for Learning, Living, and Leading in Georgia (L4GA) grants to 38 school systems throughout the state. The Jones County School System received an L4GA grant in the amount of $2,263,364 to be dispersed over the next three years. This grant will benefit all learners in Jones County from birth through high school as the district strives to improve literacy outcomes for the community.

Thank you to Mrs. Amy Marlowe, our School Administrations, and the Literacy Team Members who were all instrumental in the vision of this very important and much needed project. Let's celebrate and get ready to do the work.
